Project Manager – CS Design

Award winning architectural lighting firm seeks a project manager with a minimum of 3 years’ experience who is interested in working on projects ranging from interactive art installations to monumental urban and institutional projects. We pride ourselves on collaborating with the best architects and designers to produce sublime and moving architectural lighting.

The candidate must be enthusiastic, focused, communicative, and a team player. They must be uncompromising in their desire to produce stand-out projects, must take pride in their work and be constantly striving for design excellence.

The candidate must be comfortable meeting with clients and other design professionals, and have an ability to clearly present creative design concepts graphically and verbally. A vision of project development and timeline, and most critically, an appreciation of the design and construction process, project administration and administration procedures are critical.

Candidates with a demonstrated ability in lighting and related technologies will be given preference. The opening is for a full time position (35 hrs per week), with salary commensurate with experience.

Required qualifications:

  • - Proficiency with the following software: AutoCAD, Adobe Design suite, and Office suite, familiarity with Microsoft project or similar PM software
  • - Excellent written and spoken French, and functional English
  • - Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and an eye for quality design and execution
  • - Architecture, interior design, theatrical and/or industrial design experience is an asset
